my Story
Larken Lighting & Productions began with a simple belief: light is a character. It shapes emotion, directions attention, and gives meaning.
Beginning in middle school, i found a passion for lighting design which led to years of professional design work and education.
Originally, I was focused exclusively on lighting design for theatrical productions. As my work evolved, I expanded into dance, show choir, and then to film.
What I do
Today, larken Lighting & Productions works across lighting design, film production, and live broadcast. Whether i'm lighting up the stage/ screen, producing a film, or supporting a live broadcast, my approach remains the same: intentional design, thoughtful collaboration, technical practicality, and purposeful storytelling.
my philosophy
i believe great productions are built with an equal amount of artistry, reliability, and care. That means showing up prepared, communicating clearly, and finding joy in every project- big and small. my work is grounded in warmth, professionalism, and a genuine love for the process and work i do.
